I absolutely love New Year's Day. I love this day just like I love the first day of each week and the first moments of each morning — not so much for the day or time itself, but rather for what it stands for and the hope that it brings for what lies ahead. It is a time for beginning anew ... a time when possibilities are endless.
This year I'm going to (really!) try to make every day 'New Year's Day' — to remember how optimistic and empowered I felt today about the year ahead and to carry that feeling forward each day throughout the year.
I wish you all the happiness and potential of a new beginning today and hope that you too make everyday New Year's Day.
