Do you know what happens when you don't mow the lawn for a really, really long time?

The morning glories take over. Everything.

We have morning glories growing across the lawn, up the bushes, up the side of the garage, and pretty much up and over everything they can get their little tendrils on. I bet if I stood outside for an hour or two, they'd grow right up me too.

The zealous morning glories have given me some artistic inspiration lately ... something I haven't had much time for this summer and a welcome relief. It's funny how I feel better after creating something. I don't even have to show it to anyone. But, everything is always better when I do...

Anyway, today I created this Morning Glory piece and it made me happy.
