Here's another great gift idea for the gardener in your life ... a garden rocker.
I have one of these and I think it's great! 
This little garden stool is very light weight, so it's easy to grab it and take it to where ever you are working. It's also a hard, tough plastic that seems really durable. Mine has taken a lot of abuse and is still holding up well. Sometimes I leave mine outside in the elements for weeks on end and it's just fine. (yes, I know I shouldn't do that.)
The chair "rocks" so you can (usually) lean pretty far into the bed you are working on. Now, I will admit that the rocking part is probably just as bad a thing as it is good ... I know first hand how easy it is to fall off this thing if you rock to far! But, if you are careful about it, I think the rocking is a big plus and not a negative.
